Side lying shoulder abduction
Lie on your good side with your upper arm lying straight down your body.
Turn the palm to face forward, and lift your arm directly up towards the ceiling.
Lead this movement with your thumb.
Go only as far as you can manage comfortably before you steadily lower your arm back down to the start position.
