Sit up straight with the foot of your affected leg resting on the floor.
Your knee should be in a comfortably bent position.
Take some cream and warm it in both hands.
Using the whole of your hands, perform sweeping circular movements around the muscles of your thigh.
After a few minutes, you can increase the pressure as the tissues start to warm.
Next, apply a more linear pressure up and down your muscle, focussing on the tighter areas.
Keep the pressure even throughout.
Repeat this cycle.
