Seated recovery position - Breathlessness management technique - Version 2

Complete this exercise if you feel your breathlessness is severe or uncontrolled.
Sit down in an appropriate chair indoors.
Lean forward in sitting so your elbows are resting on your thighs.
Relax your shoulders, arms, and neck.
Take slow comfortable breaths, until your breathing settles.
You may find this position helpful if you become breathless.
