Stand up straight with your arms resting by your sides.
Gently draw your shoulder blades back towards each other.
Imagine pulling them into opposite pockets in your lower back.
This is a subtle movement so ensure you do not over strain the movement.
Hold this position, then raise your arms diagonally forwards and up.
Monitor your shoulders.
Ensure they do not begin to hunch and your scapulae remain in this set position.
