If available, you can use a cable machine for this exercise.
Alternatively, fix a resistance band to a solid object at shoulder height.
Place your feet on the footrests, and ensure your brakes are applied.
Sit in your wheelchair with the resistance band to one side and hold the end in your opposite hand at shoulder height.
Pick up the slack in the resistance band by wrapping it around your hand.
When ready, keep your elbow straight and pull your arm away from the anchor point against the resistance of the band.
Return to the start position, and repeat.
