Sit in your wheelchair with your feet resting on the footrests, and ensure the brakes are applied.
Loop a resistance band under your footrest and hold one end in each hand with your palms facing inward.
Pick up the slack in the resistance band by wrapping it around your hands.
Keeping your arm by your side, slowly bend one elbow, pulling against the resistance of the band throughout the full range of motion, taking your thumb towards your shoulder.
Control the movement as you lower your hand back down to the start position.
Pause, and then repeat with the other side.
