Prone hip lateral rotation
Lie on your stomach and bring your symptomatic leg out to the side, placing the sole of your foot flat against the knee of the other leg.
You are best doing this on a bed so the knee hangs slightly over the edge.
Try and raise this knee up, using the muscles in your buttocks.
Your hips will come up off the table a little.
Control the movement back to the start position.
Required equipment: Adjustable plinth/bed, Mat
