Isometric shoulder internal rotation in sitting - mid-range

Sit sideways to a table.
Place your elbow out to your side on the table, slightly in front of your body, with your hand pointing upwards. Place a towel under your elbow for comfort if needed.
Tie a scarf, belt, or luggage strap around one leg of the table behind you and loop it around your wrist.
Keep your elbow in place and push your hand towards the direction of your opposite side knee, against the resistance of the strap.
The strap should be firm enough not to allow any movement as you contract your muscles. Hold the contraction with as much effort and for as long as advised.
