Hip Strategy Training on Narrow Board

Stand on a board that is narrower than your feet, with the board in the middle of your feet so that you are not touching the floor with any part of your foot. You should wear flat shoes for this exercise. The board should be on a non-skid surface.
Keep your feet parallel with the floor as you balance. Move your trunk forwards and backwards in a controlled manner making use of your hip muscles to maintain your balance, keep legs relaxed.

You can do this exercise with your eyes open or closed following your therapists guidelines.
