Eccentric knee extension in sitting

Sit up straight in a chair with your legs bent and feet flat on the floor.
Place the foot of your unaffected leg behind the ankle of your affected foot.
Lift your affected foot forwards and up, using the effort of your unaffected leg to assist.
When your leg is straightened out in front of you, take away the support of your unaffected leg behind your ankle.
Control the movement as you slowly lower your foot back to the floor.
Repeat, ensuring you use the effort of your unaffected leg each time to lift your other foot up.
