Diaphragmatic Breathing Awareness

Lie on your back with knees bent. Place your hands on your abdomen under the lower chest. Relax your neck and shoulders.

Breathe in towards your abdomen and lower ribcage. Feel your hands rising. Feel the expansion of the lower ribcage sideways and backwards.

Breathe out and feel your hands lowering. Be aware of the small gap between inhale and exhale. Relax into the breathing cycle.
