Have the individual relaxed and supported in sitting or laying.
Hold the forearm of the person you are massaging gently with your one hand.
With your other hand, place your thumb and index finger (or middle finger) on the outsides of the finger to be massaged.
Start at the thumb, then continue to the index finger, etc.
Stroke along the finger and gently squeeze on the joints. Finish by pressing against the fingertip. Do the same with the other fingers.
