Aquatic Shoulder Flexion/Hip Extension Mobility

Stand in chest deep water in front of steps or a chair which is about 60 cm underwater. Place both hands, with fingers pointing forwards, onto the step and lean your bodyweight onto your arms. Press hands into the surface while pushing your body away.

Transfer weight slowly onto one side and lift the other hand out of the water while lifting the same side leg backwards so that there is a straight line between your hand and foot. Hold. Constantly push your body away lightly with your weight bearing arm and keep your spine straight and still at all times.
